Many people unfamiliar with Phoenix and its surrounding suburbs are inclined to think of it as an overheated wasteland full of cacti and rattlesnakes. Well, it's true that there are those, but there is also a scorching activity level.

People don't come to Phoenix to get baked during the hot summer, trust me (although the sunshine is great for natural tanning). There are reasons why it is the sixth most populated urban center in the country! Let me share some of those reasons with you.
